  1. Good question! I think that art is just changing. With every year new ideas emerge and therefore they are put into art. So I believe that art is changing as new technology and inspirations come into view. Back during the time when Claude Monet and such artists were alive their art was influenced by events during that time period, architecture, and their society. I think that art would only start dying if no one created it anymore in any shape or form. Since art is still a very popular subject I don't believe that it is dying just reshaping.

  2. I think that art is just changing. Art can never "die," because even if you think that something is not considered art, in someone's eyes it is bound to be art. In life, art has only changed and never died, for example if you compare an art piece from the Sone Age to Modern Art, you will see that art has only changed. Some people may believe that art is dying only because they have not seen art as a whole for that time period, but merely individually.

  3. Based on my definition of art, I feel that it is changing over dying. I have to agree with Elly art can only die if it were to be restricted completely. Though the art today doesn't derive from the same emotional place as say an artist from a time in war, it is art all the same. It has adapted to the time we are in.

  5. I believe that art is just changing not dying because it is impossible for art to die. The taste of people change and so does art to meet the demand for art. Art is like a stock market ever-changing.

  6. I think art is changing, because as long as someone is trying to express themselves in a creative way, in which they think is creative, then it is art. So, as long as people are doing that today, which they are, the art is still alive, it was just different than it was longer ago; but still art.

  7. In my opinion I think that art is not changing its just the people getting new ideas and different ways to express their feelings using art.

  8. I think that art is not dying, just changing. I think this because art is an expression of a person and that can not be dying. As long as people are still creating art, it is not dying. Art is changing because different people are making it. Every person who creates art has a different influence, a different purpose to make the art, and a different meaning. So every piece of art created is changing art.

  9. i think art is changing not dying, the time is changing, the way to present art is different. before, art is more like drawing and plaster statue(or rock). now the art is different, even something made by waste can be art

  10. I think that art is what represents us and our personality, society, culture etc. As the world is changing, so are the people and their needs. This is what is being reflected in the change of artwork. Therefore, I believe that art is changing not dying.
