Hi, my name is Senna from XIS(Xiamen International School). It's so good topic to debate about it. I think It's not art. actually there is artwork which drew by dogs and cats, and they call it "artwork", but I think those should not be called as "artworks" that are made without imagining or thinking of what they are working on. Every human's artwork has mood, feeling or strong image about it, even it is little, not to them who are not humans. Like robot can make the feeling on it's work, but not "create" feelings on it's work. So I think that art can't be created by those that are not human. (It is fun to talk about it :) hehe)
I don't think that art not created by humans is considered art. I think this because art is a form of expression, a human expression. Art is made from the imagination and I think that if it is not made by a human, it is no longer unique or creative. That is why I believe it is no longer art if it is not made by humans.

I think art not created by a human can be considered art. I believe this because the machine is also a piece of art. Someone had created the machine to create the art, so the art isn;t created by the machine, but by the person who created the machine. I also think that the question may be phrased incorrectly because non human creatures can create art. For example, elephants can paint, and just because they are not human, doesn't make their painting "not art". So yes, artwork not created by a human can still be considered art.-Mariam
I see it as art. Although the machine did create the art, both the machine and the outcome was designed by a person. The person had to design that machine and had to design and program whatever the machine was going to make, same as how all art is. You design and do something. So I think yes it is an art.
I consider it art, because the machine itself couldn't have done its purpose without the ideas and inspiration from its human creator, on which he passes his mind and creativity on the paper, through the machine. So, it is still the idea's planned out in a creative fashion, the fact that a machine did it doesn't make a whole lot of difference, it is still art.
Well it depends if the the idea of the artwork was done by a human than I would consider it art, But on the other hand if it was created by a robot and the idea was created and drawn by a robot I wouldn't consider it art.
I think that it depends if the idea was done by a human. If it was human planned, it makes it somewhat okay, but if the robot did all the work, then it is not okay. If the human came up with the design, then it is somewhat art. If a robot did it, it can not be art.
